Hello! Good morning evening! Seriously where does the day go…? Anywho. This week in the blogosphere:
- If you haven’t yet, you should scoot on over to Already Pretty, not only does Sally McGraw have an great smile, the content of her blog is wonderful as well. I particularly loved What Have You Done For Your Body Lately…
- I love Mary Oliver. And not just because she lives in Provincetown. She’s Wonderful! And Feministing’s Courtney does a wonderful rendition of her poem Red Bird.
- Mish’s lovely blog Eating Journey had a great guest post up this week written by Diane from Fit To The Finish entitled, “Silencing the Fat Voice”
- Love Dara Chadwick from you’d be so pretty if... Even MORE (if possible) love her post 5 Tips for Keeping Your Body Image Resolutions.
- Imagine Today is a great blog, and she has just started posting again! Yay! She hit the ground running with an awesome post about beauty ideals around the world.
- Because talking about life goals and resolutions never gets old in my book. I’ve been really loving the Secret Society of List Addicts’ 10 Things to Achieve in 2010. So much to relate to. But not daunting.
- Jezebel’s post “You Can Bluff Anything Except Thin:” Teaching Teens Body Acceptance Through Theater is quite inspiring and talks about fat as a feminist issue and the use of theatrical productions as a tool for combatting negative body image and beauty ideals.
- and on the topic of feminism, fbomb had a great post up this week (with an ADORABLE PICTURE), “What My Father Taught Me About Feminism.“
- It seems EVERYONE is talking about V Magazine’s Size Issue, but here is just one fantastic example.
- You know I love manifesting, so why not put your manifesting powers to the single best use I can think of, YourTango wants you to Think Your Way To Better Sex.
- Not much better than when boys talk about body image and self confidence. A Merry Life has a guest post up this week written by Ryan from No More Bacon about how to take a compliment… graciously.
- And last but not least… Natalie dishes about her fat role models. And I loved it. Particularly the picture.
Alright, I officially have to get OFF line and do some major packing before C divorces me as we are leaving town tomorrow for a questionable (one month? two? three?? EEK!) amount of time and I have done nothing as of yet to prepare. Merry Sunday. xoxo.
