Body Loving Blogopshere 09.28.09

September 28, 2009

Happy sunday monday!  Eeek. I have to admit, I was too busy getting dramatic and hyperventilating about being too dumb to even APPLY to grad school, let alone complete a masters, into the far far reaches of the night yesterday to post this column in its regular sunday time slot. But I refuse to be defeated! And so, I trudge on now back to the trenches of internet researching, but before I do, here are the best of the best body loving posts this week:

Favorite of the week life(?) : The Museum of Fat Love, debuting on the amazing blog Fatshionista. In  the beautiful introduction, author Lesley Kinzel states:

Fat Love isn’t simply about loving a fat person or being a fat person and being loved by someone else; it’s about loving yourself. You may have the most devoted partner(s) in the world, but that doesn’t mean much if you never understand why they love you; loving yourself is primal and key to human happiness, whether you’re in a relationship or not.

How nice is that? This is EXACTLY the type of internet find I created this weekly column for. The type that makes me feel a little like crying and a little like laughing, but mostly just good good good. Please check it out. And submit! And leave these girls loving comments!
