Hello Marizpanlings!
First of all, I would like to thank each and every one of you who voted for me for the BlogLuxe Most Inspirational Blog Award! Thank you thank you thank you. It means so much to me, fingers crossed!!
Second of all, I’ve received an awesome new award from Christine, the BlissChick, and it is all the more awesome because she made it up herself! I love that! I cannot believe I never even thought to do it, but rest assured now that she has reminded me, I’m going to be awarding you guys ALL OVER THE PLACE. Just kidding. Mostly.
Anyway, this award is the WarriorChick Award for ass kicking, never-give-up, bloggers. Cool right? I’m really truly grateful. I was lucky enough to meet Christine, because she bought a copy of The Fire Starter Sessions through Medicinal Marzipan, and I have been enjoying her blog ever since! In presenting this award, Christine wrote:
I am having a difficult time discerning how to write about it all, and that got me to thinking about blogging women whom I admire for their courage and tenacity and their willingness to share their journey though that sharing comes with a certain level of nakedness, which is just, like, another layer of scary.
Now if that’s not kickass I don’t know what is. I, too, value honesty and authenticity about pretty much all else, so I just loved that these principles were at the core of the award that she’s created.
