Whew! Happy Sunday!
Good morning guys, any good plans for the day? I am…. going back to work. Thats right folks. Because as lovely as this little blogging hiatus has been, it doesn’t pay for grad school, so back to Truro Vineyards I go. But i’m not sorry, because it really is a very lovely job, with very lovely people, and a spiel that I just repeat on loop allllll dayyyy longgg.
And onto the best of the best that the internet had to offer this week:
- Don’t forget to enter the first ever MEDICINAL MARZIPAN GIVEAWAY! I am giving away a pair of Kostick Glass Jewelry earrings, and you have to check them out because they are beautiful. And it’s really easy to enter.. Also I guest posted over at Voice in Recovery this week, check it out and give her some MM lovin’.
- Emmie B’s post this week, “Let’s talk about LOVE,” is awesome, and only a little because it mentions me. Mostly because she is awesome, and she’s a Body Image Warrior.
- Have you check out Adios Barbie? It’s a site about loving your body at every size. And that I completely support.
- Mary’s guest post this week on A Merry Life was written by Kerri from Kat Does Diets and the post is all kinds of honest and brave and body loving, and well, well worth the read.
- This week on SkinnyMinnyMedia, Roni told us about the 5 WordPress Plugins she can’t live without. And as she is really smart and websaavy, when she makes a bold statement like that, I tend to listen. Need further proof of Roni’s genius? Check out this post on her personal blog, Roni’s Weigh, about yo-yo dieting and developing healthy habits.
- Another guest-posting gem this week was on Choosing Raw and was written by Heather from Heather Eats Almond Butter. Her post is also rather body loving, and about learning to listen to your body.
- sexgenderbody is a wealth of information about all things sex and sexuality related, and this week’s post about words that are transphobic is very informative. Don’t know what it means to be transphobic? Check the link out, its a quick read, and important for the cultivation of body loving, sex positive communities. While you’re at it, also check out their post about why it’s not ok to say gay when you mean stupid.
- Em & Lo reminds us how to keep things hot when you are cohabitating. Amen.
- Want to know about things that are hopeful and green and happening in my neck of the woods? The ever-wonderful Elspeth from Diary of a Locavore tells about involving children in the local food movement in Truro, Massachusetts.
- Danielle Laporte gives us the best business advice she’s ever received: volume one and volume two.
- Honoring Health’s post this week about her intuitive eating toolbox is AWESOME. It is absolutely an excellent resource for people who like to eat. Period.
- I adore reading No More Bacon, but this week it was extra special because Ryan’s wife wrote the guest post, “The Woman Behind The Bacon Cuts The Fat.” <3 <3 <3.
Hope you guys have a super wonderful day.. xoxo.
