Good Morning Marzipanlings!!
I’m a crazy little driver today: leave Bluffton, drive-by-love-fest in St. Marys, GA, and ultimately ending in Lakeland, FL, home to one of my very besties. ANYWHO, that shouldn’t keep you from your Sunday reading now should it? In my ultimate MM fantasy, my readers are relaxing and enjoying these articles leisurely with a cup of coffee, in a robe, with nothing to do, and no where to be. That is just about my favorite way to *waste* a Sunday morning. I had less time this week to attend to the blogosphere than usual, but I came up with some good finds nonetheless:
- Tres Lola asks the always difficult, but sometimes necessary question, Is it time to ditch your best mate?
- There have been many posts around the blogosphere since the earthquake in Haiti about the best ways to donate your time/money/clothing/talents, but I really liked Veronica’s post over at Viva la Feminista, Why I Give to Women Focused Relief Organizations.
- I ♥ Agent Lover. She is adorable and wacky and has great style. And this week she has a great post up about long-lost (but so ALIVE in my heart) 90′s chick rock.
- Sally has a great post up about exercises you can do while snowed-in. I’ve found that these exercises are also FANTASTIC to do while on the road in the nearest living room/closet/hotel floor/lawn. OMG and the PANTS RANT. I was nodding my head so vigorously I nearly fell of my chair.
- Roni over at Roni’s Weigh wrote an awesome piece this week about spending more time naked! One of my favorite topics/remedies for negative body image woes!
- Love Elspeth’s post about making mincemeat pie at Diary of a Locavore this week. Sounds delicous and like a great winter day project… I’m not even sure I’ve ever eaten a mincemeat pie.
- I think that Christina Hendricks is just about the hottest woman alive, a “big girl” or not. Long story short: NYT majorly flubs a story/runs a photo of her double-wide, Big Fat Deal (!!)’s Mo Pie tells us all about it.
- HILARIOUS and wonderful post over at The Demoiselles about the V Magazine size issue in ”Curves Ahead,” includes a sexy back fat discussion, which, I’ll admit, is just about my FAVORITE type of discussion.
