Yay!! It’s almost Thanksgiving! I’ll tell you, I freaking LOVE Thanksgiving – and not just because I love the eating, though, I do love the eating. I love the family. I love the getting dressed up. I love having time off. I love being in my pajamas, and watching the House marathon. I LOVE twice stuffed potatoes.
That said, I have been embarking on a little bit of a “get healthy”, dare I say “weight-loss” endeavor. Now, this blog is about loving the body that you are in regardless of the size, which I whole heartedly believe in. That said, I don’t believe that it is “loving your body” to eat fish and chips ever day (guilty!) and not exercise (guilty..) and eat wheat every second when you KNOW you have an intolerance (double guilty). It is not “loving your body” to eat in a way that is reckless and not having my best possible body feeling in mind. Also, it is hindering my relationship. Really! Because when I feel gross I am argumentative and fight-y, even when I am not even mad about anything except for myself (re: fish and chips).
So. Not to make a big deal out of it or anything.. But stay tuned for that.
